About

My name is Martina Michalikova and I’m on a mission to help scientists develop their writing competence. As a writing scientist myself, I saw first-hand how writing skills can make or break a scientific career. I started to support my struggling colleagues and found a great satisfaction in their progress.

After finishing my doctoral thesis I obtained further qualification as a writing consultant and developed my own systematic approach specifically tailored to the needs of researchers in natural & life sciences and other STEM fields.

My method allows researchers write better texts faster and without suffering by optimizing text quality as well as the writing process itself.

  • Doctoral title in Theoretical Biology, Theoretical neuroscience group of Prof. Richard Kempter, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany
  • Certified writing consultant specialized in scientific writing in English as a second language
  • Certified yoga teacher, using yoga in course breaks to help restore the focus of participants
